Operation Sindoor on Games Field, India Wins: Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed India’s victory in the Asia Cup 2025 final as a moment of pride, describing it as “Operation Sindoor on the games field.” His remarks came shortly after the men in blue registered a historic win against Pakistan in a high-voltage clash that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

The final, played at a packed Dubai International Stadium, saw India showcase both resilience and brilliance. Virat Kohli’s gritty half-century and Hardik Pandya’s calm presence in the middle guided India to a competitive total, while Jasprit Bumrah’s fiery new-ball spell and Kuldeep Yadav’s breakthroughs sealed the deal in India’s favour. The result sparked jubilant celebrations across the nation.

Congratulating the team, PM Modi said, “Our boys played with unmatched spirit and courage. This victory is not just about cricket, it is about India’s grit and glory. Operation Sindoor has been executed on the field, and India stands tall.” The phrase quickly went viral, with fans turning it into a trending hashtag that dominated social media platforms through the night.

Celebrations erupted across the country, with streets lit up by firecrackers and fans waving the tricolour in unison. From metropolitan cities to small towns, the victory was celebrated as a national festival.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) lauded the players for their discipline and teamwork, calling the win a proud reminder of India’s cricketing legacy. Senior cricketers, including captain Rohit Sharma and veteran Virat Kohli, dedicated the triumph to fans, acknowledging their unwavering support.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) admitted disappointment but praised India’s clinical performance. Former Pakistani cricketers described the contest as intense and said their team must learn from the defeat to bounce back stronger.

The Asia Cup final not only added another feather to India’s cricketing crown but also carried symbolic weight through the Prime Minister’s words. With the T20 World Cup around the corner, experts believe the win has set the perfect tone for India to carry its momentum onto the global stage.

The phrase “Operation Sindoor” now stands as a rallying cry, symbolizing precision, courage, and victory — qualities that defined India’s memorable triumph over its arch-rivals in the Asia Cup 2025 final.
